California Dive Guy was built around a simple idea: all divers are welcome, regardless of certification level — even if you're not yet certified.

Better diving comes from better thinking, stronger teams, and honest preparation. San Diego's cold water, surf entries, kelp, depth, and limited visibility demand more than basic training — they require discipline, situational awareness, and respect for the environment.

While training is part of what I do, California Dive Guy is not about selling certifications. It's about developing capable divers who understand why they do what they do — people who plan carefully, dive deliberately, and look after their teammates.

Technical and rebreather divers in Southern California often operate in small, disconnected circles. This community exists to bring those divers together.
